Professor Dr. J.B. Dilawari, a globally acclaimed gastroenterologist and hepatologist, is recognized as the founding father of interventional endoscopy in India. Having served as the Professor and Head of Gastroenterology at PGIMER, Chandigarh, and a Senior Lecturer at Glasgow University, UK, he has over 200 publications to his credit. He has been invited to share his knowledge and expertise at leading institutions across India, USA, UK, Australia, Japan, China and beyond.

A former President of the Indian National Association for the Study of the Liver, Dr. Dilawari has been honored with numerous lifetime achievement awards from prominent medical societies, including the Indian Society of Gastroenterology, the Liver Society of India, the Endoscopy Society of India, and even the UK's National Health Services (NHS). Dr. Dilawari’s legacy and pioneering contributions to medical science continue to inspire the global medical community.
